Fun with Cousin Mo's backpack

Aunt Becky gets out a lot of cousin Andrew & Moriah's toys and Izzy has a blast with lots of "new toys" - This week they were teaching her how to wear backpacks, so I was surprised to see Izzy trying to put on the Pooh backback and then walk around, playing with it on. She loves to copy what you do. Definetly a quick learner she just has to see it, then she can do it!

At 15 months, Izzy weight 25 lbs 8oz, and is 31" tall - 86th %

I guess we better get her a cool pack soon! She played with it on for half an hour!
Taking a minute to slow down...she had a rough day, 3 shots for the 15 month checkup...but healthy as can be!
We're going to have to trim those bangs soon!
I have no clue what to do with her crazy hair!

Climbing everywhere with a backpack...going to be a mountain climber someday!
So now I know Izzy loves backpacks. It's fun to watch your baby learn new things each day!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
