When Robert and I first started dating, back in 2001, we had to spend our summers 500 miles apart, which was tough for us lovebirds. So as soon as I was able to go visit him in Florida, I took the first chance I got! That very first visit to Florida, he took me to St. George Island. Its about 70 miles south of Tallahassee, where Robert lived. There is a state park there and is not too touristy, so we especially love spending time at this beach - soaking in the sun, waves and sea air! So naturally it was fitting that we took our kiddos to St. George Island for their first beach experience after moving to Tallahassee this week. Izzy actually visited when she was 11 months old, but this was Levi's first beach trip (28 months old). Needless to say, they both LOVED the whole experience of ocean waves, sand and sealife! It was a perfect way to spend some days relaxing after a busy week of moving!

| Still enjoying St George Island together 13 years later... |
| Our No Fear kid, walked right into the waves. |
| Levi was obsessed with throwing sand everywhere! Made him wear goggles while throwing sand. |
| Lots of sand castle-building to keep them busy. |
| Izzy says she wants to be a surfer girl. She really did good at riding the waves on the boogie board - better than my first experience trying that. |
| Picnic on the beach! |
| Pretty water everywhere we looked |
| Izzy enjoyed making a moat for the sandcastle. |
| Levi kept busy all day |
| Found this cute little guy at the end of day 1. Levi tried to grab it! (but didn't) |
| Me and my mini-me! |
| We enjoyed crab cakes and shrimp po-boys for dinner. So Yummy! |
| We walked around town after dinner and found interesting art and plants |
| Enjoying the cool breeze down by the ocean. |
| Izzy loved the lighthouse on St George Island. |
| They had the best time together. I hope they remember this trip. |
| Clothes or swimwear- Levi just runs right into the ocean! |
| He loved the ocean. |
| We have a couple of sweet kids! |
| Our fun Izzy is really interested in shells and finding crabs, sand fleas and hermit crabs. |
| She found many interesting things! |
| Daddy taught them how to dig up sand fleas. |
| They loved running to and splashing in the tide pools. |
| And when they found sand castles other people made - they promptly destroyed them...sorry folks! |
| 2 sets of sweet little footprints! |
| Hard to believe our little girl will start Kindergarden soon! |
| Family selfie-impossible to get us all looking! |
| Levi looks then Izzy runs off. Oh well. |
| Love them so! |
| They are more into playing than a pretty photo for momma. Oh well. |
| That's my kids - always exploring and always busy :) |
| Another beautiful day to enjoy at the beach! |
| My two water-babies! |
| Chasing seagulls was a lot of fun for them! |
| Running, running, and more running. |
| We had a lot of big waves to play in! |
| Such a pretty view! Love it here. |
| When did she get so big? |
Ice Cream for everyone :)
Papa and Aunt MerMer made it over to play with us on the beach. Kids love being close to family.
MerMer let Levi cover her in sand. She's a nice aunt.
Robert and his sister, Meredith keeping an eye on kids.

| Papa and Levi feeding seagulls. |

Papa brought fishing poles to fish in the ocean - that was a big hit with the kids.
Once he got a bite, he would let the kids reel in the fish.
Izzy caught a white one.
Levi caught one too!
Look at that proud smile. He's definitely a beach baby.
(I realize this is a heavy photo post, but I had too many good pictures to post!)
