Sooo, I had every intention of updating the blog, catching up from slacking majorly in the past year or so....and then the worst thing happened! Literally - Our computer crashed and may have died. I was literally trying to download pics from Izzy's 5th bday when it happened  and we haven't been able to get it working again.
I am so incredibly bummed that I am just praying and hoping against hope that we can somehow get all of our photos off of it soon. We had some of them backed up, but no pictures since Levi was born were on an external harddrive. None. I'm trying not to think about how sad not seeing all those photos/movies will be. Hard lesson learned...and in the meantime, I wont be able to catch up for a bit like I had planned...I'll be crying in my room instead.

    Oh no! Hopefully photos can be recovered. At least there are images on FB and IG, but I know it's not the same. :(

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
