The Days are flying by...

I prayed for this child and the Lord granted me what I asked of him.

Isabella, our precious baby girl is already 16+ weeks old. I have loved every single minute I have had with her at home. I am beyond thankful that I have had this much (paid) maternity leave. Each day God blesses us all more and more. I love that I wake up to a wonderful husband and a precious little girl that I get to spend the whole day with - she keeps me busy, and sometimes wears me out, but along the way she makes me smile all day because of her natural cuteness. She really is soo much fun to be with. I have also enjoyed having a "normal" schedule with Robert and that we have 3 hrs a day to ourselves which I have absolutely love!
Since I've been a nurse for the same hospital system for 3 years, I was fortunate to have saved up 16 weeks maternity - definitely worth all those days I went to work when I didn't feel like it or not taking huge vacations throughout the years. We have been able to live comfortably as well as continue getting out of debt while I've been off! Like I said, God blesses us so much!
I only have 5 days off until I return to work, which I am not looking forward to. I am especially worried about how it is going to work out with continuing to nurse her, and am pretty sure I'm not gonna get to sleep or see Robert much since I'll be working 12 hr night shifts.... I know it will all work out, but I think of how much easier it would be to be able to stay at home full time -yep, me a work-a-holic wishes to be a full-time stay at home mommy!
I am however, grateful that her daddy will get to stay home and take care of her - just another way that God has provided so richely for us! I will definitely be enjoying the next 5 days to the fullest!

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
