7 months


Izzy is 7 months old and has blossomed on what she can do.
Here are some of her favorite things to do.

-Crawl
-Pull herself up to standing. She will do this all day if we let her
-try to Cruise. mostly she likes to lunge from chair to chair
-Sing to herself
-Play with musical toys
-Babble
-Read, er Eat books
-Eat her veggies
-Chew on toys with her 2 new teeth!
-Laugh
-Smile. Cheese, actually. She smiles non-stop when playing!
-Sleep
-Splash around in the tub
-Play independently. But especially loves to play with daddy.
-Stroll around in her stroller, watching everything around her
-Be tickled, especially on her chin, thighs and ribs
-Watch other babies and kids and people

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
