Happy 'Balentines'

As Izzy says, "Happy Balentines"!!
We had a fun, laid back Valentines Day with Izzy and 4 day old Levi...
Mommy & Izzy spent the morning playing together.
(After Levi's birth and us being gone, she really needed some good one on one time).
Look at her smile! I think she had a good day!

Haha...her pose cracks me up. I stand just like this in the kitchen when I cooking!
Levi never seems to notice Izzy, no matter how loud or busy she is around him. It's pretty great.
While we had girl time, Levi hung out with Mim & got some sunlight to help the jaundice out.
Is he precious or what?
Later we enjoyed some fun gifts & cards.
Izzy discovered PEZ is fun and yummy! She also turned around and 'gave' her frog to Levi.
She is the sweetest big sister! I'm so proud of her for sharing.
Roses & Reeces' - My favorite!! I also got sweet cards from the kids & Robert!
Izzy got some Roses from Daddy too - she loved them.
Most of the day, Levi just chilled in the swing with Izzy watching over him closely.

Later, Daddy & Izzy made our traditional strawberry cupcakes for Valentines
..we were out of cupcake holders, so they made a cake instead; then were too tired to ice it, and went to bed instead! Ha! We will eat it tomorrow I guess!
(I did give birth 4 days ago, so I just don't care!)
Daddy/Daughter Bake time! This happens A LOT around our house. So precious!
They both have a weakness for sugary sweets!

I love that our Family is officially 4!!

Izzy made Valentines cards and actually cut out a heart shape by HERSELF!! I thought she was just cutting random paper pieces when I looked over to see this (Bottom Right heart)
I am so proud of her - she is a crafty kid! (in a good way)
Before bed, we had some fun with Levi too!
He is one handsome little dude with the sweetest little mouth ever!
Keeping him up past his bedtime...He has the cutest yawns
Is he Handsome or what? Even with Jaundice, he looks perfect!

It was a great day celebrating lots of Love for each other and our 2 Littles!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
