Happy Fall Y'all!
What a gorgeous one it has been! We have been blessed to see lots of our family since moving to Nashville and even take a few trips.

A few weeks ago, when we closed on our house, we didn't move in right away since we already had a mini vacation planned with the Stewarts. We met up with them in Elijay, Georgia. They got a cabin in the mountains for all of us. It was a nice little getaway to relax, enjoy fall activities together and spend some time together. Izzy hadn't seen them for 4 months so she was excited to see them again!

We also took a daytrip to an Apple Orchard, which was perfect for all of us, but especially Izzy. Having her around to watch and see her experience things for the first time makes it so much more entertaining for us all. We all had an awesome time together there.

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
