38 weeks

Well folks, Levi is almost here! If I had a nickel for every time someone said to me, "any day now", "you're not going to make it to your due date", or "your about to pop!" I'd be able to buy out Babies R Us! ... I know I'm technically full term, but I still have 2 weeks to go, people! Everyone somehow seems convinced that I'm going to deliver early. But rest assured, no labor signs yet. I am thinking he will follow Izzy's lead and be late as well. Which is cool with me - I'll give him until (almost) 41 weeks before I 'evict' him outta the womb! That all being said, I'm actually feeling great (pregnancy-wise) these days! Seriously, even my tailbone has improved a bit this week and I'm doing much better. I have been taking it easy as much as possible (which is a HUGE deal, folks!!) and it seems to be making a difference! It won't be long before our family of 3 turns into 4. I can be patient 2-3 more weeks!

I'm somewhat shocked to see just how ghostly/scary/pasty white I actually am - pretty sad, yes, but that's life. I'll say it's because I'm full term in winter as opposed to summer!
I am putting these pictures up because I'm really thinking I'm bigger with Levi. What do you think? (Izzy was 7lbs 11 oz at delivery - 2 days overdue). We will see very soon!! Can't wait!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
