one of those days...


Do you ever just have one of those days where you just go nuts? well, Izzy has them all the time!
And we stand and watch and laugh. It's actually pretty fun to see a kid having a good time running all over being silly!
Easter basket becomes her hat
Doing the splits turns into flips...and then it's just a running around who-knows-what-she's-gonna-do-next time!

She has more energy than she knows what to do with it...and she usually bounces, jumps, flips, runs, rolls, climbs all over doing what every she feels like.
It's actually hilarious to watch, but man, it will leave you feeling worn out.

She definetly needs to play sports or dance or tumble or something. I can't wait until she is old enough and potty trained to start sending her places to wear herself out.


The only thing is, she never seems to run out of energy.
Her latest thing is to pull on our hands and say, up, waiting for us to follow her lead in whatever wild activities she is up to at the moment.
She was not impressed that I was still sitting, so she climbed onto my shoulders. Gotta lover her determination (and that tongue!) haha!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
