Sweet kisses & kicks. 19 weeks

This morning I was worn out when I left work, but I left work early which made things 10 x's better. When I got home, baby was kicking so much that I had Robert come over & feel too! He got to enjoy feeling kicking for the first time. Izzy must have been observing closely because after he got up, she came over, raised my shirt, placed her palm on my belly and grinned (he didn't kick then, but she knew that's what daddy did). Then she leaned over, kissed my belly and lowered my shirt down. It was the sweetest little gesture and it made my day. I already know Robert is an incredible Daddy, and I'm pretty sure Izzy is gonna be the best big sis ever! Thankful for the small things in life!!

Feeling better, feeling lots of kicks, and feeling good!

    Yes, we do! I think I'm bigger because it's my second! At least I feel bugger earlier :)

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
