End of year Preschool Program/Meme is 60!

So much happens in May/June in this family!! Feels like we just party,party, party for about 6 weeks around here! Plus all the end of school activities going on, it can be a bit hectic! With that being said, we were still able to celebrate Roberts' Mom's 60th Birthday, on her actual birthday. We had fun throwing together a small family party to celebrate her!

The kids were so happy we were finally having a party for an adult birthday! They get confused when we don't have a big to-do for grown-ups and tend to consider them having missed their birthday party somehow.
Bma & Poppy were able to come too.
Robert grilled some wonderful chicken BBQ, as usual!
Our house may be smaller, but we can still fit in one room to eat!

We took a quick "entertainment" break to go see Levi and friends from Timberlane Preschool singing their Patriotic program . The kids were singing loudly for the Red, White & Blue. As always, they were precious and we enjoyed it!
After the program, we came back and had cake and ice cream and presents for Meme. It is a special birthday for her this year, because neither of her parents outlived 59 years. So we are extra happy to be celebrating 60 with Meme!

Cutie Pa-tootie LOVES to sing! He had a good time at the program. 


Yankee Doodle! Loved their sweet voices. These kids are ADORABLE!

We are so proud of our little 3 year old. He has learned so much and does really well at Preschool. His teachers speak well of him and he seems to be friends with everyone. 
(After all the partying, we packed the kids up with their grandparents for us to sneak away to Orlando to celebrate our Anniversary - we really have too much going on)!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
