Mothers Day and Meeting Isaac

My sister, Cheree had her second son, about 2 weeks ago, and we've anxiously been waiting to go meet brand new baby Isaac...and see many of our family too!

The kids and I road-tripped up to Chattanooga. They both slept the whole way (a big and wonderful 1st for a road trip)! I was tired from the drive, but really appreciated being about to listen to my own music and no complaints, "when are we there's, or kids movies, etc.....Once we arrived, the celebrating began. There was lots of giggling, running and laughing for Izzy, Levi & Jack, but even more snuggling with the new baby. Izzy was especially obsessed with her new cousin. She did a great job with him and kept finding reasons she needed to hold him.
He is a sweet baby and we were happy to finally meet him. The next day my Dad and brother came, then my Nana from Canada and aunt/uncle/cousins from Nashville came too. It is always nice to see family that is so spread apart.

We made many trips to the parks, and even made it to Coolidge Water Fountain/Park in downtown Chatt. I really like going to Chattanooga as it is a super kid friendly place and we have a great time playing with cousins.

(Izzy got her haircut ! Eek but I liked it.)

It ended up being a mini family reunion over the weekend - but it was great to see everyone!
My parents from AR came. My little Bro, who we miss tons came.
My Nana from Canada and her friends Cathy came. Also, my fun Aunt Becky, Uncle Malvin & favorite half-American cousins, Andrew & Mo came too!
