Sharing the love...of a stomach bug

What a rough week it has been for the Stewarts'. We have all passed around a lovely little stomach virus that gets one of us every few days. Cousin Mo had it, then Izzy (luckily for her she had it the briefest), then Robert and finally Momma. I had to leave work early Tuesday because I kept feeling so awful - and in the middle of circulating on a c-section, I about fell out, so I had to go home at that point.
I slept for about 2 days and am finally feeling better. The weird thing is, we were all feeling really achy - I personally was scared we had a touch of the flu in July! but it thankfully has passed for all of us. I hate being sick, and not getting things done that need to be done.
But like I said, we're doing better now...Robert continues to search for jobs and we are searching online for a house. I really hope Robert gets a job soon so we can make some big decisions about the house soon.

There is nothing better than having a baby who loves to go to bed and sleeps 11-12 hours every night - especially when Mommy and Daddy are sick!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to.
