Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Turkey Day!
We were blessed to be able be with my (mom's side of the) family
and also 2 week old nephew, Jack!
If you have ever hosted a family get together you know it can be overwhelming and tiring. I however, don't really experience that, Thanks to all the wonderful help of my husband. It's hardly fair to keep having parties and events at our house, because I usually have to work at some point and therefore sleep, leaving Robert to run things.
He is simply amazing and I couldn't be more thankful to have him as my husband!
Izzy was very thankful to see and HOLD a baby! She was in love with her new cousin!
My Sister and Bro-in-Law seems to be enjoying parenthood with their sweet baby!
Jack did great with all the excitement and didn't mind being passed around so we could all enjoy some new baby cuddling!
Grammy & Grandpa got lots of lovin' in on new baby Jack!
Meeting Jack for the first time was pretty exciting for big cousin, Izzy!
Izzy got to spend a lot of time with my grandparents (her great-grands), Nana & Grandpa!
She teased Grandpa a lot and got a kick of out playing with them! I love that she gets to spend some time with them each year!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
