Happy Easter

I hope and pray that each of you had a wonderful Easter weekend to reflect on the goodness, faithfulness, and love of the Jesus. I am so thankful that we have an awesome Savior, who gave his life and for a sinner like me, which I am beyond thankful for.Thank you, Lord Jesus!
I pray that those of you who are around Izzy continue to show her the love the Lord and help us to raise her knowing the Lord.

We enjoyed our Easter by attending early morning worship at SVCC at our church home, a quick nap at home, watching Izzy play with her Easter basket duckie and shaking the eggs and toys (she Loved it), followed by a picnic at Shelby Farms with our dear friends, Craig & Merschon and Preston & Alana. It was a great day to reflect on the cross, our blessings and discussion of how to continue to serve others around us. I am so thankful that we have been so richly blessed with good Christian friends and a wonderful church family that encourage us and push us to grow each time we meet!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
