I love it when Grandparents come!

After having the Voyles Grandparents come the end of March, Izzy had a nice treat of a second week with a Grandparent, Mim (Grandma) Stewart come the first week of April! I absolutely love it when family comes to visit, esp Grandparents who can take care of Izzy and have fun with her so I can get stuff done, rest and relax. Not to mention, I got to sleep after working all night instead of staying up to care for Izzy. Izzy does well with her grandparents, which is a big relief to me. I think she actually wears them out, but still, they love it and so does she! Every time Grandparents are around, it really makes me wish we lived in the same town as family. Its completely different knowing someone is there to watch your baby at any time and you are free to do things you need to. Maybe someday we will that wish will come true! I hope so!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
