I have so much fun each day just watching her play and explore. I love seeing her little personality bloom. I try to do a few things around the house with her at my feet so she knows she can't have constant attention on her and I can get some things done. On this day, I was changing her sheets and she was really curious about what I was doing, so I put her in the crib. She proceeded to sprawl out on her belly, then she looked like she was making snow-angels in reverse... she just squealed and was chatting away, having a fun doing nothing basically. I grabbed my camera and she stopped, but then did it again briefly, and the rest of the time, I just kept taping her because she is so funny to watch! Watching Izzy being Izzy is one of my favorite things to do!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Grammy made homemade blueberry pancakes while Izzy and Grandpa supervised (and taste-tested) YUM!! I'm pretty sure she said Yum a lot this weekend! Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
