Not bored
Well, little girl, I am not in any way bored. Thanks for making sure of that! (Izzy helping Mommy and Daddy cook in the kitchen)
Since Jan 1, 2010, oour lives has not been the same. Why? because little Izzy starting crawling and soon after, started cruising! She is always on the go, and therefore, so are we.
She goes to anything she wants and will not let anything block her way. Generally, she will climb over things rather than go around them. She does not have many road blocks she cannot overcome. Also, she has good object permanence. We can't hide things from her, because she knows where it was or where we moved it too. This has led to her throwing mini tantrums. that's lotsa fun. (luckily, we can distract her easily still)
She is also really good at recognizing what sounds make which noises and always investigates things. For instance if we are grinding coffee, she looks at the coffee pot and mugs to see if she can get into our coffee. If we are loading the dishwasher, she always comes "running" in to "help". When we cook she wants to be involved, and won't play with anything but cooking utensils then. She is literally always at our feet watching us and trying to help. Its adorable and fun. I can't wait until she is bigger and can really do things rather than just get her hands into everything!
When we need a "break" we put her in the backpack and she watches us vacuum, clean and organize and is totally into what we are doing. She is hilarious to watch as she observes her busy world around her.
Thankfully, she has not figured out how to get into any cubbords or pantries or the dishwasher. yet. but I know that is only a matter of time. She loves Tupperware and I know I will many pieces spread over the floor any day now.
