Surprised by my Best Friend

With a tough schedule and little sleep, I have been really bad at keeping up with many friends and even family. (sorry guys, I'm doing my best) This past week, my BF (since middle school), Sarah C. and I finally got a chance to catch up via phone. She has always been super thoughtful & caring, and after hearing what the past few weeks have been like for me, she sent me a really great CARE package!! It was such a great surprise to get at the end of my week! Complete with some of my favorite goodies - mint choc. cookies, coffee, relaxing bath stuff, lotions and even something for Izzy too! It definitely made my week and made me feel loved! So a huge THANK-YOU to you, Sarah! It is really great to have good friends who care so much about you!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Another busy weekend has come and gone. It feels like we did so much with our family this weekend, but really we were all able to relax some and enjoy hanging out and playing with Izzy for the weekend. I'm thankful for the extra time with everyone. I just wish we had one more day off to do nothing now! Here are a few pictures to recap the weekend. Closer than ever

It was soooooo good to see my brother and sister. I'm glad they will get to see Izzy more too! There is so much to her personality and abilities, it is just too hard to describe her over the phone! Yesterday was a very cool day for me - I got to hang out with my brother, sister and brother in law too... hanging out might not sound like a big deal, but to us, it is exciting because for the first time in a long time - at least 7 years the 3 Voyles siblings all live in the same state. Not just that, but we are only 2 hours away from each other. We have been 10 hours apart for the last 4 years...which meant only visiting each other 3 or 4 times a year - 3 or 4 RUSHED visits is hectic and not enough time together for us. Now with Cheree and Daniel in Chattanooga and we're in Nashville (so is Mark), we're all going to be able to see each other much more often, allowing us days to just "hang out" like we used to. I literally called Cheree and Daniel on Thursday to ask so...
